What we protect
- Documents, records and data shared by clients during applications, audits and certification.
- Information about a client obtained from other sources (for example complainants or regulators).
- Personal data such as CNIC numbers, contact details and staff information.
How we protect it
- Every staff member, auditor and contractor signs a confidentiality agreement.
- Client documents are stored securely and can only be seen by authorized people.
- CNIC and NTN numbers are used only to find certificate records and are never published.
- Information is not disclosed to third parties without the client's written consent, except where the law requires it. When the law requires disclosure, the client is informed unless the law prohibits this.
Information we make public
To allow verification, we publish limited information about certificates: the holder's name and address, the standard, the scope, the dates and the status (valid, suspended, withdrawn or expired). This is explained to clients before certification.
